Meet the Curators
Clarendon Fine Antiques was founded by mother-daughter duo Cheryl and Anna Brooks, united by a shared passion for travel, antiques, and timeless design. The name takes its inspiration from a home, not just an address — a residence in Birmingham, Alabama where Cheryl created a warm family home filled with antique and vintage pieces gathered over many years. Together, they curate a thoughtfully sourced collection of antique and vintage furniture, lighting, and decorative objects sourced throughout Europe.
Anna Brooks developed an appreciation for design from an early age before earning her degree in Interior Design from Auburn University. She currently lives in New York City and spent three years working with renowned designer Nate Berkus, where she refined her eye for antiques, vintage furnishings, and thoughtfully layered interiors.
Cheryl's natural eye for beautiful spaces and timeless pieces shaped the very home that inspired Clarendon's name and remains at the heart of its story. The first piece of furniture she purchased for herself in her early twenties was an antique chest of drawers that Anna Brooks now uses in her daily life.
Based in Birmingham, Alabama, with a presence in New York City, Clarendon Fine Antiques works with collectors, designers, and fellow design enthusiasts across the country. Antiques should not only be admired but thoughtfully incorporated into everyday life — bringing both beauty and function to any interior. Their hope is to help clients create interiors that feel collected over time: spaces defined by beauty, character, and lasting craftsmanship.
